Wildlife Biologist Analyst Full Job Description
Job Description: We are hiring a wildlife biologist analyst for a 2-year position (with a potential for extension depending on funding) for a full-time hourly position at $24.91/h with full benefits. The candidate will work with several different government agency and academic partners on a variety of projects in the Suisun Marsh of the northern San Francisco Bay and Delta. This is a perfect position for advancing the career of a recent graduate with an advanced degree in ecology or a closely related field who seeks real-world experience in applied studies and management and seeks to strengthen their background by authoring reports and scientific papers.
Qualification: Graduate degree in wildlife biology, ecology, or similar; proven experience completing scientific reports and scientific manuscripts, experience working with large datasets; background in conducting analyses and modeling; knowledge of “R” coding and ArcPro, knowledge and experience conducting work on wetlands and wildlife; background working with diverse teams.
